    FJAY today was an early dismissal,,my kids would been home by 11: 30 but they played it safe,,,sucks,,,,,ps I still think this one is coming later it might not be the stupid high amounts but its still there .

    so its been an hour and 10 minutes since a flake fell in Newtown. Was there supposed to be dry bands like this?

    hour and 40 minutes without a flake....something tells me this isnt good somehow

    1" so far in Valley Stream at 1:44 pm, I know the worst is yet to come but so far....

    Keep us updated FJF...you seem to have the heavy stuff about 30 miles to your south? Its crawling northward...lets see. Still think you do a bit better then that.

    This is what I hate being so far removed from the location....truly have no idea whats going up there Mr. Brook...a good way to tell is how much do you have right now?

    Jay and others ,,,I have been watching all day = TheRadar has looked really good all day but its just lite snow and evaporating --dry air is winning out and snow has been lite. It has been crawling North and I think it still gets here but the #'s that I thought will be much less--IF IF IF the moisture can win out I still think my area can get 4-8 or 5-10 but as I said it has snowed lite all day and under 32 and nothing on pavement. Right now it has picked up as I type but still not sticking yet ps,,wife was in Northvale NJ 20 minutes South of me and it was day and night from here she was shocked how it looked here----keep em coming Jay and let me know your thoughts ?

    Jay when u get a chance read my other post and give me your thoughts--- heres the thing areas like Staten Island and Brooklyn have done ok I hear the Bronx has 2 or 3 inches but the radar is not telling the entire story

    It has been a crawl west of I95..BUT its crawling that way. The green part of the radar looks to be at your backdoor. So..keep me updated when it picks up...how much you have when it kicks in.
