Hey Staff...good to see you sir. Yeah..not perfect timing for the sticking to start..it starts just as the heaviest bands are moving in. Going to be some big numbers there too.
You too Jay. And sorry, but I continue to think that any adults who like heavy snow accumulations (other than on ski slopes) are insane!
Staff...I know...I know. I'm sitting here trying to think what to type next....cant find a thing. I agree. Wait...nope...no response. I agree sir.
Jim Cantore is the only guy on the weather channel I can handle...but even he....Jesus... Jim Cantore has announced that while everyone in CT should be leaving work...he would like it if you guys didn't all leave at once...to spread it out...or as he said "grab your stuff and walk gingerly to your car". I mean....I'm getting cranky the older I get.
I have to agree with that. I used to look forward to the snow, and I would call in sick and jump in my truck at the first sign of a snowflake. Now, I can't wait for it to end, and for Spring to get here.
wow....that is incredible. To fully get how hard that is to happen in a snowstorm...its insane how often it is happening all over the place. Just a clue as to how strong this storm is..great that you have now experienced that..not many have sir!
Totally get it...for the record..the day after a major one I take a deep breath and try to come to grips how retarded I really am. A true look in the mirror moment. Then I go searching for the next one. No cure.
It happened to me in Wayne N.J and it was at night..I mean...crazy. The sky just lit up and it was several seconds before the thunder. You being so close to it...nuts.
NNJ is about to get into the 2" an hour stuff. Looking at the radar, NYC looks like it will lighten up just a bit for about half hour...and then a huge band is forming to come into the city in about 45 minutes to an hour. Possibly over 2" and hour stuff.
