It’s really having problems getting north and west. Temps stayed up on the coast. Mixing issues along the coast. Worries about that when the last few models had that positive tilt. Still some time but I think, right now, cman and me are out.
Fjay ,I could be wrong and I hear you,,,,maybe dry air is winning and I know some models jumped in last minute to say this might happen but I will stick with what short range models said. Lets just see if the dynamics are just taking a little longer to get involved. I think its too early to panic ,I know radar shows snow falling right now but I don't see it making it to the ground right now either,,,,,I think we are still in the game and am hoping,,,,,,but I'm a Novice lol
Virga is precipitation that falls from the sky, but evaporates before it hits the ground. This can create false radar images where it appears significant precipitation is occurring, but in reality, nothing is hitting the ground. be patient
yep Jay Virga is something I actually knew,,,,,but some places are reporting snow and I got a text or 2 from people in Brooklyn and it is flaking there and other places,,edit,,I still think we get 2-4 ----thoughts?
I think we know I am not patient. I feel like we have seen this set up a few times recently. These are the storms that struggle to get last i84.

100mi west. We have light snow. Almost sand like in texture. Deck and flower beds now have a coating.
let me tell you something sir...i pop in here and there...you guys have got this thing down pat now. was just checking warning advisory charts....fjf is on the fringe of this and you too..seems like an east of I95 thingy for the beefier totals. Lets see how it plays out but radar looks like the models have a good read on higher amounts being coast.
