hey c, we are still way better than last year, by a lot. now its been bad for sure but i think we have another foot of snow before its all over. the latest gfs snow total map for the next 10 days: thats for the friday event and another one next wednesday. it wasn't over when the germans bombed pearl harbor

Next winter maybe we'll get the polar vortex back and some snow along with it. It went visiting in Eastern Siberia this year. They had some wicked new lows while the Arctic was like Springtime in Newfoundland for a month.
i don't think it will be as intense as saturday, going to be hit or miss on who gets any thunder. friday snow staying down in central pa and new jersey , nyc and north and west might see an inch. @Cman60 could be as much as 4" after this i think its over boys and girls.
Locals saying significant snow stays north of I-80. (State College, Williamsport, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre). We'll see some flakes, but nothing substantial. Evidence building for climate warming folks. I'm hearing stories of spring fishing already starting to take off in lakes. We're almost 30 days ahead of normal spring. Not really looking forward to what is shaping up to be the hottest summer ever recorded.

woke up to a dusting, gfs and euro trying to keep me hooked for another 10 days but i ain't buying. i think its over boys, in the freezer tomorrow, start climbing out on sunday then at least a week where lows are barely below freezing if at all.
