I think its the Ariens curse Brook! It took two years before I got to use mine after it came. Wifey really let me have it too. Talked much shit and there was nothing I could say until the first biggie hit back in I think '14. Once she saw how fast I got our driveway done? Silence!

FJAY---I have looked at runs and other sites and just watched a Bernie Rayno telecast from last nite and I dont know what these guys are seeing but some seem to think Tuesday aint dead,,,,I do NOT know what they are looking at what says you ?
tuesday would be the storm i thought,still think,is dead. the monday. what was modeled originally to come across the ohio valley and become a noreaster for usi s now modeled as a strong upper level low. the 12z models dipped it down south enough to give us something tuesday a.m. the latest gfs has backed off that a bit. an identical storm moves in on the 8th followed by another low trailing it giving us a snow-rain-snow event from the 8th-9th. i could get excited about the 5th/6th storm again if the next 2 runs trended back south. the 8th-9th storm looks ,to me, like a better chance but still a long way off. i am going to see what bernie has to say, he is pretty educational
OK--so I feel like BillMurray--> it is groundhog day and the 2 big models are now agreeing on something for Tuesday can the curse of Brook / the snow blower purchase be broken ? If the Red Sox can win a world series I say it can snow on Tuesday!
Fred I dont make this stuff happen I just come here to discuss and get disappointed lol BUT as of right now the GFS and Euro both agree that Tuesday it snows, in fact one says about 4-8 inches . Now the day is young and this will probably change as it always has this winter , I mean there is also the undeniable fact / curse that Brook did purchase that freaking snow blower
CBG If it snows on Tuesday(Feb 7th) it is my curse. So you are good. I expect my snow blower on Feb 7th based on the email I got. My curse is strong. It will snow heavy on Tuesday. My snow blower which is due on Tuesday will be delayed. I will shovel all that snow and the blower will show up in 2 days. And it won't snow again for at least 2 years. When everybody said no snow for the 7th, I said watch it, it will snow. My curse is well and alive.
Well Brook just as my Yankees once had the curse of the Bambino over the Red Sox we still have you but Its dwindling buddy ! Not even FJayF s declaration of it being dead is holding true---as the latest model run moved / shifted way North and now we are lucky to get 2-4 up here and the city sees hardly nada,,,,,this will change again by bedtime but its fun to know that the model runs are as fickle as some of my childhood girlfriends.
ps on one of the sites that I go to there is someone who is almost as good as our FJF and Jayster when it comes to this weather stuff and they say watch the 9th and 11th,,,,,,again they are usually very good---->that said Tuesday aint dead but make sure the priest is close by
Looking at the latest gfs, on my phone so might be reading it wrong, eyes are not what they used to be, it seems to have rolled the 2 storms into one tuesday/wednesday. right now it would be a messy snow/ice/rain that no one wants. would start with 3-5 and then change over for a lot of rain and ice before ending as another inch of snow. for sure next week is going to be interesting.
