LOL....no no koz..you did good. I will say this, the current radar is showing more organization. This should be an interesting 3 hours coming up.
Depending where..and yes. All the negative talk..including me..is because of what the storm has looked like the last 6 to 8 hours. After looking at the last two hours...I wouldnt say this thing is beginning to throw in the towel just yet. It will still be strong when it gets here.
Google a topographic map of your city. If you live under 25 feet, leave. If not, you're probably fine.
My point is, are locals better served (if the hype is true) by having the game prior to, or in the aftermath ?
The last place I would be during a hurricane is a football stadium, especially for a preseason game. I imagine the game will kick major ass if its played in hurricane conditions and those of us watching on tv wont be able to see shit, but it's really not worth being in one place packed in with so many people with the conditions expected.
My point about theNFL still stands. Are locals better served by playing the game ahead of the storm or after. And does the NFL profit more from the inverse
This should stir you up a little more TO...a brother of yours from the south bitching about no attention being paid to them on the weather channel. TWC keeps showing the Jersey shore and Cantore in NYC...and I cannot understand why they are not showing whats going on in North Carolina
totally follow you. They could have even started the game at noon and that would have solved every conceivable problem.
hahahahah.....I just took everything into the garage just now. And, yes, sweating balls as we speak. I'd rather be safe than sorry with something like this. It is raining a bit up here on LI.
There was a mandatory evacuation in an area about only two miles from me. I happen to live within walking distance of a bay and am in an area prone to floods, so I left too. I'm spending tonight and likely Saturday night as well at my parents' house. Their house is about six more miles inland than where I live. I'll be helping my father bring stuff into the garage tomorrow. If I have to move the grill and other assorted heavy stuff for what turns out to be 2 inches of rain and 14 mph wind, then so be it.
Because a cat 1 to nc is fun and games. anything less than a 3 to the hurricane states is fun and games.
lol...never thought of that as a comeback. How true. Was down in NC coast when the received that amount...people were pulled over on the side of the roads with these looks of disbelief.
