hmmm....not sure. Trends right? Whats crazy is...and you guys correct me if I'm wrong...you had storms passing you to the west...some great lake cutters and you guys being on the warm side? So, usually, the track slips south in winters like these in January. Yet this storm forms in the Gulf and stays pretty flat too far off the coast. Weird winter for you guys and happy I'm not tracking this winter.

Still...probably a happy medium will take place. I mean...you have had artic air at times right? Its a pretty active pattern that has either missed wide right...or wide left. My gut tells me that it will eventually "find" you guys. It has to. Does that mean only a chance at a few major blows and not steady? Not sure.

January 15 to Feb 1 looks like a steady cold mass...hopefully the storm track finds you guys then.

Yeah...which means the Midwest gets clobbered and you guys are wet and warm. When those storms pull away...counterclockwise....they bring in cold air AFTER THE FACT. The cycle continues....now sometimes...sometimes...when the cycle gets broken like this storm to the south of you...which will hit down here, it breaks the cycle. But that can take 7 to 14 days to be felt up north. Still think it will. Its not like this winter has not had precip. It will come.

I hear what you are saying about the long term models...just remember that is now officially a trend for this winter...so when you see that...red flag it for a bit. You have done great buddy.

    CBG, Cman and all

I have a small driveway and I didn't need a snowblower so far but l decided to get one this year. I want something that can take care of the pile the road cleaners dump on the entrance of your driveway. What is a good brand etc. Help please.
