1 foot of snow in Westport CT, thanks to my Ariens snowblower(one of the best investments I have made) I was done in 20 minutes this morning. Hopefully when I retire my wife and I can retire to NC.

Final accumulation in Hicksville 17 to 18 inches, some drifts pushing 4 feet. I can get out of the driveway now at least. That is until the plows come through again. Had a neighbor get the worst of it with a snowblower between the driveway and the street, thank God. I expected this snow to be lighter, but the bottom was wet.

My dog had me LMAO running around in the stuff. She is getting up there, but today it was like she was a puppy all over again.

We just moved out of the Peoples Republic of North Jersey last month... It was all the snow last year that pushed us over the edge...

    I'll take South Florida...

My car last night at around 7pm

That is not where i left it. I tried to drive home............ at 10:30. Not really sure where i abandoned it on the road. But i can tell you it was no where near the curb. Not even close. This is the worst day ever, and its going to get 100* worse.

pulled a biceps muscle shoveling out the driveway last night because my neighbor would be getting home late at night

turns out there was no point, street was impassable anyway

shoveling the sidewalk, most of the pathway to the house, the steps to the house, and a path on the porch

I'm ready to rest for say 5 hours.

we clearly got over a foot and the shoveling I did last night didn't help, because the snow just drifted right back over it. You barely could tell the difference.

Plow still hasn't touched our street and I'll be damned if I'm going to take the Q46, with baggage, to the subway.

Just got home from work and now I have to dig out my car ( I walked in, a 1 hour hike). They are going to do snow removal between 7 AM and 10 PM. Not like narrowing it down too much huh. I HATE MY BOSSES!!!! I HATE MY JOB!!!! And I'm expected back at 6 AM and there is no parking anywhere around the office. I even saw two (2) 4WD vehicles stuck (on side streets) on my walk home. Snow removal sucks in the town of Kearny NJ. GOD I HATE SNOW!!!!!

    I will not complain anymore.

Except I just heard the f'n plow come down the street, so no whining may be a short lived statement.

No plows where I am in Brooklyn. No subways today and I don't think they will be running tomorrow morning on the outdoor lines.

I just had the snow blower tuned up at the end of the summer.

The snow was perfect powder for the snow blower to demolish. When it's wet and slushy I'm screwed.

I had to snow blow the driveway 3 times yesterday.

    5pm - 8pm - and 11 pm AND this morning...and it still looked like I did nothing.

I didn't envy the neighbors across the street who shoveled out.

I laughed at people shoveling as I drove by with my 8 foot minute mount 2.

Made over a grand plowing overnight for the next town over.

A minute-mount? They make Meyers look good.

I've been pushing one of these around for 16 of the last 24 hours.

I like those v blade deals.

MM2 takes me literally a minute to mount it. Lol.

I push it with an 04 F350 Turbo Diesel which is modded for performance.

I push a ton of snow with my 1 ton truck.

I got accustomed to this type of weather in Syracuse. But even up there, the snow was constant, down here in the NYC area, you get snow storms that dump snow on you out of no where.

So when you go from no snow to 2 feet over night, it's jarring.

It snowed way worse in Syracuse over the course of the season.
But I am one of the few people who loves snow. I absolutely love snow.

I push that with an 02 2500 HD Diesel. Power never an issue, only grip.

These take about a minute too. drive into it, hold a switch that electronically mounts it, lock 2 pins
