if that happens the way it is modeled it would be a mess, 3-4" of precip with the last of it being snow. everything would be coated in ice, power outages everywhere. brutal
Fjf ,,,keep your eye on next saturday,,,I absolutely do not want snow or bad weather on the 5th,,,,lots going on,,,my luck and the way winter has gone we get snow that night,,,keep me posted fjf
Fjf,,,,weather geeks on 2 sites talking possible big snow Friday and Saturday,,,,,,,it's like sighting Bigfoot or seeing the loc ness monster so read this------ > it cannot snow next Saturday ,I do NOT want snow Saturday, screw it let it rain if anything !
i feel like the geeks are really grasping for anything because this winter's been a bust.right now the gfs has absolutely nothing for friday saturday. euro gives a closer threat but its not there yet. we will keep watching
Well they are still looking at models and still saying it could happen for Saturday ,,,,I hope they are grasping
Fjf call me in,,,,because I'm starting my trip out to the ledge,,,,,,waited for snow all year and got nothing,,now the one freaking day I need no snow and the weather geeks are excited ! If this does happen ,,,need the timing to be over very early Saturday if not by friday,,,keep me in your thoughts fjf
@CBG 12z models are still your friends and you have the whole winters trend on your side. Whats so important saturday if you don't mind me asking?
Ugh,,,,,this is not what geeks are saying,,,,,,need this thing to head out east,,,way out east,,,,,,they are saying it trended north and west,,,,,,timing blah blah,,,Yada yada shoot me now
Brook if I tell you then I would have to kill you ,,,lol I just have an important affair to be at , its been planned for quite a while and a Snowstorm is not desired this weekend as people will be coming from long distances
so right now the gfs and euro agree on a low pressure system hitting the coast of south carolina early friday morning and heading north east and safely out to sea. with this track we may see an 1" on friday. when it hits the open ocean it will have potential to be a decent storm so we will have to watch the track. right now it would need to track about 200 miles north to threaten the tri state area this weekend. not holding my breathe
