Well, it's slowed down here a lot...

Looks like our weather got swapped with Jonnyd's. I'm thinking we might get out of this with less than 6".

 

its snowing pretty good here...got about 3.5 so far

I'm in Morris County and I just measured about 20-24 inches.

 

We're about 10 miles apart, maybe a bit less and he's north and east of me. I'm guessing the band of snow that was falling on Bethel this morning has shifted a bit north and east at this point. He's more east than north.

 

The Bethel line is like 4 miles from me

 

ok,you're a long way from done,this storm still has 6hrs i it.you should see another strong band in about an hr

Here in Fair Lawn,NJ(Bergen County) I'm guessing 12-14 on the ground right now. Hoping the worst is over but I know this storm has a few more hours to go.

 

Just got in from my first Ariens pass. I'd be surprised if we're under 24". Its still snowing steadily and if this keeps up till midnite, I can easily see another inch or two. Thankfully this is a nice puffy snow. Done with it for today though. I'll see what it looks like tomorrow.

 

i think you will see another round of heavy stuff soon. don't be surprised if you are close to 20" when its over

strange that Jay is absent from the winter storm of the century

looks like the call last night of 2-3 feet for NYC is spot on

L.I. just getting bombed right now. moving in to ct. jonnyd is going to be pissed. cbg should be moderate snow for the next coupled of hours. think you end around 18"
very good considering where you were wednesday. gotta say,pretty jealous. the radar looked like it was coming for me all day, just couldn't do it. too much dry air eating it up. wish jay could've been around this week. so many questions for him.

I think so. Heard it may snow itself out. Still a few strong bands to cone through. I'm still holding out hope for enough to run the snow blower
