updating site now and will post here also CBG..storm continues to show a lower pressure read meaning winds will be gusting too. What started out as an overrunning event just continues to get stronger and stronger as we get closer.

Looking at the models...have to do a call out to CMAN...we need CMAN badly to help us out with this storm. Since CMAN is located where the fight between snow and sleet/freezing rain will be...here is my theory. If cman reports at anytime he has over 5 or 6 inches of snow...then we can say up here that the bigger numbers will happen. IF cman reports that he has several inches of snow and then a lot of sleet..then many south of FJF and CBG might get the lower amounts...6 to 9. FJF and CBG are pretty much guaranteed for big numbers. CMAN...please respond that we need updates from you bud early in the morning sir....can we count on you? lol
fjf...I have been there bud..just keep asking questions for anything you might need. The only down time I will have between now and when the storm ends is tonite from around 7pm until around 2am..but I will be on at 2am tonite or a bit earlier..so just ask questions here and I will help you out. Have been through that kind of "black out" and it SUCKS. We are here for you. IF CMAN COMES ON TONITE PLEASE TELL HIM WE NEED HIM JUST IN CASE HE DOES NOT SEE MY POST..lol...his information..and Im being dead serious...will really help me out here..and answer many questions for all of us.
Thanks jay. winter storm warning was just issued. Planning on the kids not having school, unfortunately me and the wife are essential personnel at our jobs and expected to be in. Should be an interesting morning TWC just upped their prediction to 10-16

Just a guess, but it should be pretty lite snow unless you end up getting some change over. But the temps look cold. Colder the temp lighter the snow

Seeing 16 - 20 being predicted up here now. Amounts have been going up with every run. Thinking it has to do with lower temps raising the ratio. We might be 12:1. So light fluffy snow but alot of it. Cbg, bet on double digits by dinner time monday.

Here is the most important thing we need to know from you CMAN and all kidding aside...your answers will determine the changeover here and the final numbers here. If you tell us you had 2 inches of snow before sleet began to mix in...I will have a good idea up here. If you tell us you had over 4 inches of snow before a mix with sleet...a very good idea of what will happen up here. Just need to know how much snow you received before you start hearing the ping ping of sleet sir...HUGE HELP
HMMMmmmmmmmmmmmm....really tough call..I would say yes on the no school but L.I. is going to have changeover problems..but to a full rain? Doubtful...what town again in L.I. FM? I will take a good look.
