Really confused on the reports you guys in the city are giving me. For the first time it doesnt add up with the radar. When you get into greens and yellows for snow..its usually heavy stuff. Dew Points are low and that could account for some of it but...nuts. Im in the darker blues and just started greens and have moderate wind driven snow. Keep me updated for anyone that sees a major increase in intensity.

Incredible Drew...speechless when I look at radar. And I have heard that now from several people the differences in NYC.

I've got at least a foot on the north shore of Long Island (Centerport). We've had heavy and light moments, but no stopping. With all the wind it's hard to get a accurate measure since it's blowing around so much. If this keeps up, I'm comfortable saying we get 24" by the time it's over. How about you Jay?

Very possible FM because realistically, you still have another 10 to 12 hours of snow left....and some of that at decent rates. An average of an inch an hour there? Very possible and probable. At least someone is getting the big numbers!!

No snow for hours now in NW NJ. Going to bed. Not disappointed in the least. If the radar pivots and the snow heads west, as slow as this storm is moving, we can still get slammed. Hoping we dodge one in the Tri State snow belt this time.

Just not going to make it out there JWWS...really sorry how this played out for NJ. Weather men and women in our area will wake up sick to their stomach..lol.

There is still plenty of heavy snow to come down for NYC/L.I. and even Northeast NJ..and even CBG. but a lot of NJ busted terribly. REALLY BAD.
