    Dont expect a loss...but someone is going to get the shaft of a lifetime...you are right in the bullseye so any change would leave you still very high with snow..but take PHILLY for example..a 100 mile swing and they go from 15 inches to a trace.
    NO trends...nothing to compare to...this is a rare bird. Very rare setup. This storm will not get lost with the models..we are running out of time...the first part of the storm is within 30 hours. The big boom...48 hours.

    If the models would have lost the storm they would have lost it with tonites run..and all that happened is that the GFS came out and said 12 to 24 for many...and then the EURO laughed and said no...20 to 35 for many.

    thanks cbg...I do really enjoy it. I have to force myself to stop typing and adding more stuff. If this storm comes to fruition, Monday night? I may need to build a bathroom next to the desk and dust off the college fridge and coffee machine because the amount of time I put in the last storm would pale in comparison...but thank for the nice words. I missed on several areas...really missed...but I guess when you throw out so much information and hit on some crucial ones..it pays off. Thanks bud...we are still on for Monday night? We should be able to squeeze it in before the bad stuff..will check timing tomorrow.

    You want to see something incredible..something bizarre? Nuts..here is the NWS live updated forecast and this is 48 hours before the big storm hits us..they are putting these number out already..and when the VERY conservative NWS does this this early? Time to buy the storm:
    • Sunday Night A chance of snow after midnight. Increasing clouds, with a low around 16. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
    • Monday Snow. High near 24. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Northeast wind 8 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
    • Monday Night Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 23. North wind 14 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.
    • Tuesday Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 28. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
    • Tuesday Night A chance of snow before midn
    Thats 10 to 15 inches of snow they are posting already...believe me..have been following that site since I was 30...I have never seen them post accumulations this far out...and although their numbers are conservative compared to what the models say...this tells me they are all on board for this storm.

    Here you go Bill....Boston MA.
    • Monday A chance of snow, mainly after 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 24. North wind 7 to 13 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
    • Monday Night Snow likely, mainly after 11pm. Areas of fog between 9pm and 2am. Areas of freezing fog after 2am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 18. Northeast wind 14 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
    • Tuesday Snow. Areas of fog after 2pm. Areas of freezing fog before 2pm. High near 23. Blustery, with a north wind 20 to 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
    • Tuesday Night A chance of snow, mainly before midnight. Patchy fog before 10pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
    AND ignore their winds....very conservative...for Boston every model is showing sustained winds over 30 and gusts over 65

    Why sorry Jim? No big deal
    Here you go for you...Blizzard watch for Boston:
    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TAUNTON HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD
    WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE
    TUESDAY NIGHT.

    * LOCATIONS...EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND RHODE ISLAND.

    * HAZARD TYPES...HEAVY SNOW...STRONG WINDS AND BLIZZARD
    CONDITIONS. CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

    * ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 18 TO 24 INCHES.

    * TIMING...THE WORST OF THE STORM WILL BE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH
    TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

    * IMPACTS...HEAVY SNOW AND STRONG WINDS WILL RESULT IN THE
    POTENTIAL FOR BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WITH NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY.
    ALONG THE SOUTHEAST NEW ENGLAND COAST...THE SNOW MAY BE WET
    ENOUGH TO RESULT IN SOME DOWNED TREE LIMBS AND POWER OUTAGES.
    TRAVEL MAY BECOME IMPOSSIBLE AND LIFE THREATENING ACROSS THE
    ENTIRE REGION. THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A HISTORIC STORM.
