Seems Manila dodged a bullet with Ruby, it was nothing but a normal rainy day. I know south of me they got hit pretty hard but Tacloban was spared this time. The airport was already up and running on Monday here. I've seen 21 reported deaths which while horrible is much better than the 7000+ that died in Haiyan last fall.

lull in the action for many right now CBG before it picks up again overnight and there will be a changeover to snow for many..how much? Big question right now..trace near the coast..and some areas inland could get up to 6.

It has started snowing down in North Jersey by me...Think the main part will be this evening until morning.

    Here is a local radar.

Friends....begging me to say "jay..its not going to snow!!!...get off of it!!" And you always stick to your guns when you believe the models.

Check out the way this radar has filled in:

Notice the wall of precip entering northern PA Does that continue to pivot around towards Lower Hudson Valley and NNJ? Not sure...but its going to snow very hard for hours and hours where ever that pivot takes place.

Guys..and snow haters...You guys know I try not to come off as a prick for snow haters...because as soon as the snow stops...I too become one...anyway...keeping an eye on Christmas week and to say Im 90% sure about a white Christmas for many if not all would be conservative.

Following 2 storms...1 for the 22nd and 1 for the 24/25th...and have a feeling the models are getting the two mixed up and its actually only 1 big storm for Christmas Eve but can easily be wrong. Have a little write up and hopefully will have a bigger write up tonite with pics and all.

updated weather forecasts for each game....amazing its the middle of December and besides the chance of drizzle in K.C., we have to wait until Monday Night Football to get any inclement weather. Now that game, which will piss off the indoorzy Saints, says rain...but don't be surprised if we see the white stuff mixing in and maybe even changing over to at some point during the game.
