FM..think it will be all over well before midnight sir. You should be fine for an early morning thanksgiving day departure. Road crews will want to be home for the day and I think by morning the roads will be great.
Yeah GG..Handwriting on the wall already..although just checked out 1o days..and the temps actually look pretty good..but did see another potential storm around the 12/6
Jay, big favor, going to St. Maarten on Monday 12/1 for a week. We are seeing shitty weather, can you confirm?
My fiance is driving down right now instead of tomorrow. I'm glad she's coming in advance of the weather. Just worried about the in-laws Thursday.
We've had warm weather most of the week and the temperature just started diving in the last few hours. I was enjoying 67 degrees yesterday afternoon and it's 30 degrees colder right now.
Original plan A was to leave NYC around 11 30 and head to bklyn. ,,,,then head back up north to the stix but all this talk made me say plan B ,,,,screw it just head to bklyn from NYC around 930 a m,,,,gets me back to the stix around noon maybe earlier,, ,plan C is to just bang in ( no NYC ) wake up head straight to Bklyn and then back to the Styx ,,,,,,
Plan be should be ok CBG..original plan...NO..NO..NO sir. Text me from the road tomorrow and will help you out.
I would be very surprised if anyone has a problem come Thursday for these reasons. Its a wet snow..not much ice under the snow..so plows should eat this up and spit it out. Temps will be above freezing and roads should recover fast. Also..plow guys want to be home for the holiday..and I can bet you they will have the roads...well..highways easily...spic and span by 7am. The storm is now scheduled to end before 11pm...plenty of time.
GQ..thought you were busting my balls...was ready to throw an LOL at you..but then did my research and came up with this site..and wouldn't you know...yeah..I mean 50 and 70 percent chance of showers down there is rare..here is a website for you to keep updated as you get closer bud. Hope it helps. LONG RANGE: http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/l/NNXX0004:1:NN CURRENT: http://www.weather.com/weather/today/l/St.+Maarten+NNXX0004:1:NN
Well, they are leaving from Ontario early Thursday morning. They live about an hour or so northwest of Toronto so they have to drive threw the Buffalo area. How much has it melted there? Still gotta drive through NY and Northeastern PA.
Ok..have to admit..worked my ass of today on the site...tell me if you guys like the way Im doing it now with updates in a row so you can scroll down and get all the updates on one page...think it works out better and thanks for help guys. www.jaysweather.net. I think I like this setup better of one page with all the updates separated by ________________________ on each update..easier to read. Thoughts....
Buffalo will be fine...as they get to NY State..it will be later morning right? and then NE PA at the end...they will be surprised how easy it is GD...they should be fine.
Nick Gregory lowered his totals,,,,,,,,,,Lonnie Quinn says i get 3 to 6 and much north of me 6 plus,,,,,,,time will tell
