    Jay

You are a great person. I hope you can still find the time to post here. Please don't leave us hanging in winter.

    Hi WW

I thought I did but if not, please accept my apologies. Your above post is self explanatory. Thanks.

I think Jay is a miserable jerk and his posts are boring and ordinary. Just putting that out there.:)

Back on topic............I'm hearing in a few days certain areas in the Upper Midwest and especially Northeast could get close to frost warnings in the upper 30s at night. Crazy!!

Sigh of relief. Welcome back Jay! I can't tell you how much you would have been missed. Now I can go back to winning my weather battles with my wife who still swears by local TV forecasts . I'm winning her over though. In all honesty, I am thrilled this was cleared up and that you are back on board ( no pun intended).

One last note on the Jaywayne love train: I have no idea what the hell happened, but Jaywayne is one of my favorite posters, and this is one of the few threads I read in the BS forum, so I'm glad this is back.

Weather.com is one of my favorite websites, just for the outlandish headlines.

"80,000,000 AT RISK TONIGHT" is the current one. The hell does that mean?

Its one of the most overrated things to happen weather wise in well..since my last winter storm prediction didnt come true...hows that for honesty!!

All it was..and some even called it a july polar vortex..which would be equal to a January hurricane packing winds of 13 mph..is a strong upper level low pressure that is pulling down in the midwest (check out the all star game tonight...see all the down jackets JOKE!!) 15 to 20 degrees temps colder then normal.

So..if you do the math? Normal high is 85? Will be 70 to 75. The biggest feel of this..and it will last not even 48 hours, is the night time temps. Normal low 60? Some temps in the midwest might get down to lower 40s. Yeah...great story...but its about a 12 hour event.

For us...its a dream. By tomorrow night there will be barely any humidity and the temps will be mid 50s..near 60. Highs during the day will be lower 80s tomorrow and maybe not hit 80 on Thursday.

After that..summer. It will actually be rather nice for about 3 o 4 days and other then some cooler then normal night RU, you will be fine bud.

Below normal temps...its so dumb GD...very dumb. Normal low tomorrow night is 70 this time of year? Might go down to 60.

The big story for this is Canada and upper midwest with temps for only 2 nights might get down to the low to middle 40s..which is very cool. This time of the year for them though..they constantly see temps in the mid50s.
