Yeah,as soon as I saw that thing developed,it looked like it was taking a classic track at the SE. I'll gladly take the blue track. I had an awesome week with all the rain we had last week, and just bought a bunch of new restoration equip. So bring it on.
The riptides here in SC have been awful the ast week. We have had atleast 5 killed her eon the grand strand in 7 days.
wow type..that is horrible. Those areas could easily see a huge amount of rain and there really is no place to put the rain. These "smaller" wind field hurricanes can dump huge amounts of rain and riptides...big problem my friend. Wow...that is very sad to hear. Right now a high pressure over berumuda will help guide this thing to make land fall from northern FL to Georgia but SC will get a real heavy dose of the wet stuff. Georgia is a rare landing ground for these but its very possible.
just remember you heard it first...HOT..VERY HOT....just in case you have been inside the last 4 days. No relief until big storms on Saturday then Sunday and Monday....NIIICCCEEE.... Friday will be the worst out of all of them.
Thanks for the beautiful weather at Myrtle Beach this week, Jay. No rain since Saturday, perfect top down/pool/ocean skies for Mustang Week!
Never occurred to me until just now, but I'm really excited to notice that this map looks like an old man eating a french fry. Cool.
Jay ,,,,,any snow in the near future,,,,,,I could use a good snowstorm,,,been wayyyyyyyyyy tooooooooo hot brother,,,,,,,,c ya on this thread real soon
Jay, What is the possibility we are going to get hit w/ a hurricane the first week of August? Have you seen any models that would suggest this?
Jay...been seeing some Severe NJ Weather posts on Facebook about TS Dorian potentially taking aim at us. You buying it? What are the odds that this thing completely ruins my week on LBI (7/27-8/3)?
Looks like you're in the clear DHarris. The National Weather Service has downgraded it to a 'tropical wave' and has posted its last advisory on Dorian: "DORIAN DEGENERATES INTO A TROPICAL WAVE...THIS IS THE LAST ADVISORY" Only a very small chance it could regain strength due to wind shear and dry air. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCPAT4+shtml/271457.shtml
Falling leaves and then snow will be here before you know it,,,,,that said enjoy the remaining weeks of summer !
hey guys..checked in here a couple a weeks ago and saw nothing..now boom....stephanie abrams chest and all. Have to tell you..she is a hottie. What a body. Sorry I missed some things here...looks like the hurricane season is a dud so far...but things should pick up the next week or so. Lets hope its all good tracking but safety for all. Early on for the winter...lets keep an eye on halloween. Two major storms two years in a row told the story for the rest of the winter...lets see what happens as we get closer. Will start checking in here more often. Rain and thunderstorms are the story for the nyc metro area for the next 48 hours with some major storms and heavy rain is some of the waves.
on a football note...stephen hill baby. This guy made a huge mistake in his college choice and it cost him in the draft. All of this talk about his hands..he is a sophmore college player in his mind with a body of a top 20 receiver this year IF a qb can throw the ball to him. I really believe he will rise and be a top 10 receiver in the next couple years. He is the guy Im watching most this year....and another big IF..if he stays healthy. Hamstrings scare the crap out of me.
nyc metro..and I guess the whole Mid-Atlantic/ northeast...get ready for the best stretch of weather this area has seen this time of the year in decades. Never hits above 83 and lows starting friday in the upper 50's. This will last at least 7 days and perhaps 10 days. ENJOY!! Check out the low on Wednesday night....brrrrrr.....This is as close to San Diego weather this time of the year as you can possibly get. Here is the forecast for Passaic County, N.J. from the National Weather Service: Overnight Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Northwest wind around 6 mph. Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 77. Northwest wind 10 to 14 mph. Wednesday Night Clear, with a low around 52. Northwest wind 3 to 8 mph. Thursday Sunny, with a high near 79. West wind around 6 mph. Thursday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 55. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight. Friday Sunny, with a high near 82. Friday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Saturday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Sunday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Monday Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Monday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. Tuesday Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
Jay, Getting married in south Jersey by Cherry Hill on September 7th. Try to keep the hurricanes away if you can. Thanks, TCGF
