No Parcells dumped Feely when he 1st got here and while I liked/like Feely it was actually a good move. We have Carpenter for half the money he's a better kicker. He also kicked in Montana where the wind gust at 50+ at game time with snow and he says he loves kicking in bad weather. Huh...really? Dude it's a kicker I don't think he had much to do with the Fins being home right now give me a break that response was weak as hell. Oh and here's a crazy idea learn how to spell your own players name.
He actually had a really good year the one season he was here in Miami. If it wasn't for the money he would have been owed for a second seaon and us finding Carpenter I'm sure he would still be here.
LOL, yeah I was glad when he switched helmets because that tight one he was wearing wasn't a good look. BTW how do you know what a sheep's vagina looks like....I understand it gets lonely on the farm.
That kicker's don't mean shit. Not too many guys could have stepped in and punted in the clutch like that. He DID make a difference. See also: Vinatieri, Adam
Oh, well I didn't say they don't make a difference and the one we got to replace Jay is a little better then him. My point was that our kicker had nothing to do with us missing the playoffs he was great this year.
Feeley handled the punts, kickoffs, fg and XPs. I'd say he made one helluva positive impact on this big playoff win. hope carpenter had fun watching Feeley.
I have no idea but I'm thinking most kickers can probably punt to a certain degree. Just seems like a smart thing to practice in case something like today happens. I also have seen Jay on kick coverage and I think it's pretty cool that he tackles like a free safety. Like I said I always liked Jay and think he's a baller as far as kickers go but I also like the guy we got to replace him that all.
