I just feel bad that we couldn't get him a win against them this year

Hell of a game by him, alot of those punts were much better than some of weatherford's.

GREAT job in a very tough situation by Feely.

    I'm so happy right now.

And to think we tried to sign Nugent over him.

Glad to see his leg didn't fall off tonight. Hopefully Weatherford turns out to be OK but I think we should sign another punter just to save both Feely and Weatherford some unnecessary reps.

I knew there'd be a Feeley thread. I just had to look a bit. Wow, what a game by Feeley. Big spot; playoff game; you never punted in a NFL professional game before and you come in and do a very admirable job. That is just awesome.

Not only that, but when you factor in the anxiety caused by finding out that Weatherford was suffering from an irregular heartbeat and to come in and focus like that. Absolutely incredible. He definitely was a huge contribution to the Jets victory.

Irregular heartbeat. Potentially fatal. He's no Abe.

Guys. I hate to break it to you all but if Feeley has to punt in ournext game we have no chance.

All his punts were directly straight in the air and had no distance. The jets cannot afford to give a better team better yardage.

Also his leg was tiredfrom punting and kicking and his kick offs were short too. This isbad for the Jets.

Actually, he had a few nice punts to the sidelines, including one that went out on the 6 and one on the 11.

I'd still expect the Jets sign someone just in case.

Feely got some moxy that's for sure! Those field goals would have been good from 60! Props to Jay!

If he hadn't stepped up his game, we would have lost this game.

I think Weatherford could be back. I never heard that his condition on the irregular heartbeat was serious.

Until there's better news, I don't think the Jets can treat it as anything less than serious. An irregular heart beat is always serious. I'm not saying he cannot come back but if the Jets do sign someone, how much worse is it going to be to have an inactive punter vs. having an inactive anything else?

As for Feely, the most impressive thing he did, for me, was coming back after having two FGs called off due to penalties and kicking a good punt. That's the veteran leadership you want on a playoff team. There is no way that composure went unnoticed by any one on the Jets.

    Yeah,

Great game for Jay. We were lucky when Parcells cut him.

Irregular heartbeat for a punter in a playoff game, hmm...

Sounds like a gambler's dirty trick. In the kind of game the Jets and Bengals were supposed to play today having no punter probably would have been enough to sink the Jets. Feely bailed us out bigtime.

Great game for him today, that's how you step it up when asked.
