Lito is going to play, he has been full participant in practice all week and Rex said he was going to start
Lowery has done a solid job playing for Lito. I like Strickland better than Lowery or Sheppard though, and as long as we have atleast two of them to complement Revis we are in good shape. Lito should not be brought back for the potential compensation we will have to give up.
Jets' chaotic defensive scheme will test Jaguars New York's second-ranked defense aims to wreak havoc on Sunday. by Michael C. Wright - Nov. 13, 2009 > http://jacksonville.com/sports/foot...ts_chaotic_defensive_scheme_will_test_jaguars
November 12, 2009 Changes on special teams ? By Rich Cimini Special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff said today that he may replace KR Justin Miller for Sunday's game. Now that wouldn't exactly be getting to the root of the problem, would it? The problem is kickoff coverage. Remember that Ted Ginn Jr., fellow ? Westhoff defended his kickoff coverage unit, saying it was among the best in the league before they got hit with "two atomic bombs." Reluctantly, he admitted they will some adjustments in their coverage unit. Mostly, they'll be using the right players this week, meaning Marques Murrell, Ahmad Carroll and Marquice Cole -- core special teamers -- will be active for the game. Vernon Gholston will not  . Rex Ryan strongly hinted that Gholston (hamstring) won't play.As for the kickoff-returning situation, Westhoff indicated that Miller, signed recently to replaced the injured Leon Washington, isn't his old explosive self. He's considering Dwight Lowery and Brad Smith for the job. Smith (quadriceps) practiced well, according to Ryan, and looks like a go. > http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/2009/11/changes-on-special-teams.html
Jets-Jaguars preview ? by Rich Cimini - Nov. 14, 2009 > http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/jets/2009/11/jets-jaguars-preview.html
I think we get a big win today. Team should be fresh, and lay it out there. Sanchez should do well against 27th ranked Jag pass defense. Go Jets!
