Probably true. It might even be that we picked up JT with no plans to use him. Just sit him and bench him and keep him away from the Patsies.
But he lost $7 million just because he did not want to show up for training...that is some big time cash!!!??? There has got to be more to this story.
You have got that right. The Tuna was barely talking to Taylor the last time he ran him out of Miami, before he went to the Redskins.
Nice. Personally don't care if JT spends his free time stripping at homo clubs, that deal is a bargain.
The Miami Herald is saying that the JETS wanted Taylor: http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking-news/story/1046965.html
This is awesome, I love seeing Jason Taylor lose in a Dolphins uniform, and he apparently took less money than the Pats were offering which is pretty funny. I would've hated him even more in a Pats uniform because he'd have a QB to help him win critical games. In Miami he just has Chad.
i think that was mentioned on this board once or twice during the, for lack of a better phrase, discussions about his leaving washington. i think the consensus was no matter how much we wanted him, he's made a career (a TGG member's words - that i agree with- not mine) out of badmouthing hte Jets... so why would he ever agree to come here? in anyevent, he lost money. good. he's back in miami, where they were willing to let him go in the first place... good. we get to see him lose/whine some more. good.
if you make 7 million a year on average since 2000, not even including his advertising deals, then i guess a discount to play home is very much possible
