And has more sacks than Gholston. I say we play him in place of Gholston. Can't be much worse can it?

Easily one of my favorite Jets. He is really unbelievable on blitz's and is great on specials.

Good situational player. I'm willing to bet his aforementioned aggressiveness and pursuit makes him suspect coverage-wise, which keeps him from being a starter.

LOL--you're right. He can lay a hit on the RB or WR.

He is always in on tackles in special teams. He saved the HR kick off return by getting an arm on the guy from the Eagles last night.

he would make the team on ST alone.

dude can also lay a serious hit.
Ryan/Pettine will continue to find ways to play to his strengths on D..

    I was @ this game :)

He's been knockin em since his Rookie days...

I still remember him absolutely destroying someone in the GIANTS game in his rookie season , then he totally got burnt the next play and I said to myself, man...If he can learn to play the position, he'll be a beast...

Love that he's still here

You are mistaken. Ihedigbo was an All American Safety at Massachusetts. He is an excellent player who can most definately deliver the lumber. One helluva a football player w/superb potential to become a starter for Rex if he keeps progressing. One of our true unsung heros on D.

Ihedibo is a beast, He is the true meaning of a "Hard Hitta". He lays it all out and knocks mofuckas out. He's going to be excellent on ST this season.

I tried so hard to find an Ihedigbo jersey several months ago with no luck

did you have to have it custom made?

Im so tired of the cookie cutter Sanchez, Revis, Cothery, Holmes, LT jerseys I wanted something that you KNOW only a true fan would wear lol

Yeah, I got it on NFL.com, that's why it hasn't came yet. I ordered a Greene/Keller from tara and Ihedigbo from NFL.com.

What I notice is he is average -to below - average in pass coverage.....average to better than average in run support. His strength for Jets I have noticed is Jets use him on passing 3rd downs at LB position & remove Bart Scott, who sucks in pass coverage. Jets don't really have any LBs who are good in pass coverage.....I have noticed. Very few INT's or pass break-ups by LB's. Where is Lance Mehl when u need him ??? lol...
