Pick # 9 Patrick Surtain II CB Alabama 6'1" 203 lbs (Rookie salary $2,667,413)

Surtain possesses elite length and a high football IQ, and teams will love the person as much as the player. He projects as a boundary corner who would excel in a more zone-heavy scheme instead of a team that predominantly runs man coverage; however, he expects any team with a need at cornerback to consider him early in the first round. Teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos make the most sense, as they should be selecting in the 10-15 range, the sweet spot for Patrick Surtain II in the NFL Draft.

Pick # 18 Najee Harris RB Alabama 6'2" 230 lbs (Rookie Salary $1,863,119)

As a true junior in 2019, Harris took a massive step in his development as a runner. He was engaging defenders as opposed to avoiding them. He was finally taking full advantage of his size, and both his vision and conviction were better than ever. Najee Harris became one of the nation’s top rushers and one of the NFL draft’s top running back prospects. What many didn’t expect was that Harris would choose to return to Alabama for his senior season.

Najee Harris is an interesting NFL draft evaluation because he brings a skill-set unlike really any we’ve seen recently. He’s a massive running back at 6’2 and 229 pounds, nearly the size of Titans’ star Derrick Henry, 6’3, 238 pounds. However, what Harris does that separates him from other big power backs is his amazing work as a receiver. Harris has demonstrated excellent catching ability throughout his career, and he projects as a player you can feature on every play regardless of down and distance.

Pick # 28 Joseph Ossai Edge Texas 6'3" 245 lbs (Rookie Salary $1,690,152) - Not sure which front seven players will be available but we will take whichever one is best, won't necessarily be Ossai

A motor that stays flaming hot, he’s able to positively impact plays even if they’re not intended in his direction. As a natural playmaker, he has a knack for being a turnover creator that can get the offense the ball back at crucial moments in games. Having powerful hands, he’s a reactionary rusher that still has room to grow as an initiator with his pass rush moves. Still figuring out how to diagnose and attack run game concepts, he’s continued to improve with the more reps that he’s experienced at a single position. Ossai is raw in pass coverage when asked to drop to certain spots and it’s an area that proves to be one of his biggest deficiencies.

Pick # 34 Wyatt Davis OG Ohio State 6'4" 310 lbs (Rookie Salary $1,275,011)

Wyatt Davis projects well as a starting right guard at the NFL level and it should not take him very long to work himself into that role. Davis should be expected to claim a starting role during his rookie season in the NFL — thanks in large part to impressive NFL bloodlines and the mauling presence up front that will help create ample space in the run game. Davis is at his best on inside zone where his blend of lateral mobility and functional power can combine to push and uproot defenders at the point of attack to create gaping lanes for his ball carriers.

Pick # 36 Pat Freirmuth TE Penn State 6'5" 250 lbs (Rookie Salary $1,249,087)

As Freiermuth has developed his body and added muscle during his time at Penn State, the assumption was that he would continue to progress as an in-line blocker; but we never really saw that leap in that chapter of his game, even once he returned for the 2020 season. But Freiermuth’s value to an NFL franchise won’t be rooted in run blocking; it will be in his versatility as a receiver and the mismatches he’ll win in coverage. That is where the value for tight ends lies anyway, so the deductions on Freiermuth’s pre-draft evaluation for blocking are only marginal. He still feels destined to be an impact player in an NFL offense.

Pick # 86 Andre Cisco S Syracuse 6'0" 203 lbs (Rookie Salary below top 51)

He’s a ball magnet and his ability to take away the football makes him an appealing prospect. Not only is he a ballhawk, but Cisco’s size and athleticism are also both plus traits. Unfortunately, Cisco’s game tape reveals several notable warts. While his ball production is exciting, he is a freelancer in coverage that is always looking for the big play, but that results in far too many blown coverages. In addition, Cisco is inconsistent when it comes to run fills, tackling, mirroring routes in man, and anticipating routes in zone. From a technique standpoint, Cisco has considerable room for growth

Pick # 129 Chubba Hubbard RB Oklahoma State 6'0" 207 lbs (Rookie Salary below top 51)

Hubbard’s lack of versatility and inconsistent elusiveness removes him from the running, but on mid-to-late Day 3, he’s still a solid role player. His straight-line speed, vision, and patience could earn him a chance as a rotational player in an offense that frequently spreads out defenses with three and four-wide sets.

Hubbard’s speed allows him to make some things happen, even when players are cluttered at the line. But his lean frame dictates that he’ll need some space cultivated for him at the next level.

Pick # 172 Tommy Kraemer OG Notre Dame 6'6" 319 lbs (Rookie Salary below top 51)

Kraemer is very much a fit for a gap/power heavy rushing offense — he's a boxy build who offers plenty of juice on the A-level of the defense. Appreciate his ability to absorb blows and not get washed or reset into the backfield. When you try to test him with power, he'll meet you with more power than you can match. He's got a strong lower half and those who like to bull rush must do so at their own peril. Like what he can provide on the interior and if you protect him with bumpers in slide protection on either side, you've got yourself a functional plug in pass protection. Ceiling isn't great but we've seen players like this enter the league and find roles as starters before.

I was originally going to include Gallop but ran out of cap dollars so I went Stafford's other receiver.

yeah i'm thinking brieda may be the better option. he's also a FA and won't be expensive. miami barely used him. we can use brieda and ty. perine for depth and maybe a late round rookie depending how the draft goes (5th or later)

Breida is much better than Coleman. He just needs to stay healthy and get more carries. Coleman was average at best before he was washed.

We just drafted Mims last year.

I wanted to get us a veteran that can come in and contribute right away.

I also like the idea of giving Matt Stafford one of his boys from Detroit.

I think there's always room for more WRs. Especially given this is probably Crowder's last year with us.

I love Toney WR from UF. Think somewhere in the second would be a great pick up.
