Saw it last night. Fuckin awesome movie!! Felt like I was there the entire time. I really love how they made all the crashes silent, signifying how it would really feel if you were there. Such an awesome movie!! Oh and I saw it in Imax 3D, so I'm sure that made it even more bad ass!
I saw it in 3D. I though it was boring. I didn't feel the suspense that I've felt in other movies. 3D made it a lot better. The visuals were awesome.
Saw it last night. My wife was bored out of her skull. I thought it was visually great, didn't care about the characters, The writing sucked and it wasn't believable. An IMAX documentary on the space station made by hollywood would have blown this POS story away. Have to add saw Rush Friday night. That was a great movie. Ron Howard knows how to tell a story and develop characters.
Saw it last night. It was a good movie. Nothing earth-shattering but very good. No spoilers here but Sandra Bullock has already made this move once before.
rottentomatoes is biased towards certain movies. Look at most comedies and they generally give them crappy ratings. Starship Troopers ftw btw.
I saw it last night and thought it was very good. Kind of like Apollo 13 meets Cast Away. It was visually stunning and Sandra Bullock was excellent. And IMO the movie was nothing whatsoever remotely like Speed.
The movie is probably going to get the record for most box office gross per cast member. There's something like 7 cast members in the entire movie, and 5 of them are voice only I saw it on 3D IMAX, but the 3D was giving me a headache, I should have seen the 2D instead, now I know why I haven't wasted my money on 3D before
The reason why I compared it to Speed was because every time they thought the problem was solved, something worse happened. Speed was the same way.
Fast paced linear film in which the main character is always on the go from one hair-raising scene to the next. I think it is very much like Speed. Cast Away was much more measured with quiet time amidst the panic. There's no quiet time in Gravity at all.
