It's not like that one would have helped them. He would have just gotten Zach Miller killed by overthrowing him on every play with a deep safety. 2007 has to be one of the worst years for QBs. The first five QBs to go: Jamarcus Russell Brady Quinn Kevin Kolb John Beck Drew Stanton Has there been a worse year for QBs this decade? The most successful guy from that year was Tyler Thigpen for crying out loud.
I'm surprised Drew Stanton ended up being really shitty, I remember some analysts were saying he was a sleeper prospect...then again he did end up with the Lions so it's hard to judge if he really is awful
and that QB class was supposed to be pretty good. This draft class for QBs was supposed to suck and next years was supposed to be amazing with Tebow and Bradford. that's not the case anymore. its amazing how we really just don't know.
Bradford practically killed himself by going back to for his junior season. He would have been the #1 this year and who knows how the draft would have looked after that.
Yeah, at the time it seemed like a better idea, plus this Raider fan is a big ND fan too. I told him this is what you get for the 30 minute Tim Brown celebration in the middle of a game. The 2006 QB class isn't looking too hot either, except Vince Young.
pal⋅in⋅drome a word, line, verse, number, sentence, etc., reading the same backward as forward, as Madam, I'm Adam or Poor Dan is in a droop.
I would actually like a team like the Colts to get Russell as their #3 string QB and see what they can turn him into...
We could use the Raiders to beat a couple of teams, so by all means play who will give you a better chance to win, Cable Guy. Thanks.
Over the last six seasons the Raiders' W-L records have been 4-12, 5-11, 4-12, 2-14, 4-12, and 5-11; if they go 4-12 this season, they will have a seven-year string of W-L records that is palindromic.
