I have no problem with negativity and venting. Labeling Adams a bad pick or a bust or terrible after three preseason games is not negativity or venting, it's just pure stupidity.
Against the Giants, Adams missed a tackle but made an incredible pass defense in the back of the end zone against Engram. Rookies need time to develop.
Is it just me, or does Jamal Adams seem to do a little playacting out there? I think he is going to be just fine as a player, but it's almost as if he goes above and beyond to get the camera on him. Could just be his style, but seems to be very eccentric between plays and how he interacts with coaches players etc. Almost like everything is a big deal lol
If a safety cant lay the wood as a #6 draft pick...were in trouble. Great pass deflection..but a #6 has to be able to do it all.
I had the same thought...i was wondering why he wore thise bands on his arms at LSU...i thought it was for attention or to get a better grip when he tackled all those shoe strings.
You got all of this from three Preseason games? That's incredible. Also, if Maye becomes the second coming of Ronnie Lott, I think we'll be just fine at S for awhile, no matter who is playing next to him.
It's obvious that you never watched LSU, or the SEC in general. Did you really think, feel & believe that Jamal Adams would play with the same type of fire, aggression, energy and passion in which he displayed @ LSU during meaningless preseason games? So. You know talent? Based off of what? Preseason games? Pathetic and laughable. Jamal Adams has been a stud thus far. Has played like an animal. If he continue to play at this rate/pace he'll become an All-Pro and/or Pro Bowler during only his rookie season. I never forgot this thread. I've made lots of wrong predictions as a fan and will continue to be wrong from time to time but to dismiss a talent like Adams? Because of preseason snaps? You should be ashamed of yourself; Adams is looking like a freak out there...
Adams is a monster because he does everything so well. Bowles uses him to cover TE's and WR's...he can play in the box and rush the passer, stop the run...play the middle of a zone...kid is a freaking monster. Not to mention it's interesting that Adams plays more of the do it allm safety and Maye plays a bit more of the deep safety.
