You could make the arguement that Kyle Wilson was actually the best player on the team's draft board thus filling a need while taking BPA at the same time. I'm really hoping Ducasse can be a mauler on this o-line, he has a great group of guy to learn from so he should be decent at the very least.

The Joe Mcknight pick was actually a really smart pickup my Tanny, he has the potential to be a leon type back for us and he already has some chemistry with Sanchez. Combine that with the fact that he hasn't had any significant injuries recently and we don't have to pay him as much as we do with Leon and it turns out to be a really good pick.

We basically have the same starting linebackers from last season and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the coaching staff is very happy with the flashes that Westerman had shown last season with the limited time he had on the field. It makes sense considering Westerman played about as much as you'd expect a late round pick to play and the only time we could have actually picked up a linebacker was somewhere in the late rounds.

It just didn't make sense not to give this guy more time to see what he could do then to draft a late round rookie and make them fight for playing time. For the most part we still have basically all the players that made this defense ranked
#1, we simply added a few players and really strenghtened out weak points on defense.
