Granted this is FL, but I had some old lady plow into me while I sitting at a red light (unfortunately with my head turned sideways messing with something on the passenger seat). ... They took my vitals (120/70 57bpm) and I said I was Ok, and left after the cop recorded the damaged while the old lady went to the hospital. Granted the next morning after anger and adrenalin wore off....... i knew I needed to go to the doctor Frenbar may be right, and probably would've helped my cause as well (2 months of PT and other stuff)
If his airbag deployed I think they take you to the hospital as a matter of course. Spoke to an EMT after some little car t-boned my Suburban. The woman driving looked ok but he said the trauma from the airbag will hit her in about 15 minutes so they take you to the ER until after that shock wears off. _
so a "medical event" is what caused him to have the accident. So he's being treated for medical concerns unrelated to the accident. I wonder what it could be?
You have to figure he must of had some type of seizure or he blacked out. The medical event caused the accident, wasn't the result of the accident. If it involved drugs or alcohol, he probably would have been cited or given a summons and we likely would have heard about it. Apparently he was kept in the hospital till Sunday for observation and was released. Showed up at the facility today. Hope he's okay, I like this kid. _
