When a young and impoverished kid in high school shows athletic ability, dozens of people with authority use that kid to improve their own work and life situations, whether it is sports budgets, school recruitment, or simply job security. Never mind that the kid is having trouble paying attention in class because he is hustling and chasing tail all night. Then that kid gets pushed to the next level without ever getting out of the mindset he was in during high school, and now he has college administrators and local authorities protecting him from marring their reputations, they feed that kid ego trips, women and entitlement, and push him through all academic hurdles. When that kid gets drafted into the pros, he had a sense of entitlement so ingrained that he does shit like this and wonders why he isn't getting covered for it. Because he thinks he will always be protected from consequences. Because he doesn't realize that his new bosses no longer care about protecting him. Now... maybe you can expound on your perceived ignorance? I doubt you will.
how do you figure? It doesnt go for everyone,but a lot of these guys get pushed through school,let off of trouble right through high school. even the hs i went to. football players could rape the cheer team,and get away with it.
