Fournette was featured some in the pass game last week and I don't expect that to stop versus the Jets. He's gonna get a ton of looks against the Jets
I read 3 or 4 posters say the Jets O was better than the Jags. Now I haven't seen much of the Jags play this year and missed the Jets week 1 but I see the Jags #4 in scoring and the Jets #22, total yards Jags #13, Jets #30. What am I missing here? I see Jags with the better WRs and TEs. Jets get the edge with Rbs as Fournette hasn't proven anything yet. QB is a toss up as neither can be depended upon to not give the game away but Bortles has a lower INT to TD ratio so maybe lean his way. Then need to look at who each O is going up against, Jets O against Jags D is a worse match up than Jags O against Jets D.
Both teams coming off big wins or aberrations could be a trap game for the Jags cause everyone knows we have a low talent pool
I think if it was in Jacksonville I would take the Jaguars by 10+. It is another home game for the Jets though and I think they will feed off whatever crowd shows up. There should be less Jaguars fans than there were Dolphins fans last week too. Like I said, need to get pressure on Bortles and stop Fournette. If so, the Jets can win a low scoring game. I think the Jags defense is underrated.
It will be low scoring with Bowles aggressively pursuing the win by going for a TD and missing when a field goal could bring us to overtime...hahaha
I could actually see the Jets winning this one as the Jags are nothing special as well. I am a little surprised that both the Jags and the Ravens are playing this weekend since they were in London last week. I would have thought both teams would get their bye now giving the time zone change.
They were offered it (at least the Jags were), but turned it down. How much further is London to NY than say SF to NY anyway?
If we win the tank gets put on hold for a couple weeks. If we can go into the New England game at 3-2 I will be back fully invested in winning as many games as we can this year. Can you imagine if we knocked them off to get to 4-2? That would be gold, especially considering it would at least knock them into a tie with us if not worse. We're probably going to lose to the Jaguars but that was a fun little 30 second imaginary trip I just went on.
Cman, we almost shut out a QB who was retired with his sights set on an announcing career as recently as a month ago. The Super Bowl is well within reach.
BC, Put the Peyote down man and stop with the Tequila chasers too.. (Btw.. hook me up with your Peyote connection...)
I'm looking forward to watching how our defense responds against Fournette. My top 5 favorite players to watch coming out (no specific order) were Dalvin Cook as an FSU fan, Jamal Adams, Deshaun Watson, O.J Howard and Leonard Fournette. I'm excited for this game i really wanna see Adams lay the lumber on Fournette.
Forte OUT. Not the worst news I ever read. I like seeing Powell get carries and McGuire too. Last week I was pretty certain the Jets would beat Miami. This week, now that it is Friday, I am still not sure about the Jaguars. Mostly because I don't know which Jacksonville team will show up. I thought you get a BYE week after playing in London. Instead the Jags get a road game. Could hurt them. I'm going with the Jets, 17-14.
Jags are overrated as hell. Their offense is shitty and their defense isn't good enough to make up for that more often than not. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
