I'm not sure who you mean, mav .. do you mean Richard Marshall from Fresno State?

If so, I liked him but I didn't love him .. I'm much higher on Chris Houston

If Houston runs in the 4.4's he'll be a late 1, right in our crosshairs .. but if he runs a Sub 4.4 at the combines he will fly up the board .. even 25 will be out of the question

If he runs in the 4.5's he will not make a huge leap .. he'll probably be a 2

I think a lot will depend on his speed because the scouts already know he's adept at the Bump & Run, very physical, and he has nice size

Actually, I think he meant Kenyetta Marshal, the big NT from a DII school in Michigan (Maybe Grand Valley State?). I think I remember you posting a report on him last season.

OIC, thanks for the heads up PA

    Sorry about that, Mav

Keyonta Marshall was a dominant D2 Guy .. highly decorated .. PA is correct, he played at Grand Valley State, the elite program at that level, perennial champs, and he was by far their best and most dominant player whether it was stuffing the run or providing an inside pass rush .. in short, he was basically unblockable at that level

Of course D2 is a long way from the NFL so it's always a longshot, but what intrigued me about Marshall was his size .. a stout 330 and he just looked like a NT .. if he was 290 or even 300 and dominating D2 I probably would have blew it off as just another D2 stud who doesn't have tools for the NFL, but he was actually one of the bigger DT's in the draft, and that got me to thinking, hummmm, maybe he's worth a look?

I don't know what will come of it, Mav .. maybe nothing at all .. but it's worth a shot
