No surprise here and really not bothered by the loss. Powell was more effective as the season wore on. RB is a position you can fill rather easily
Can't blame Ivory. Can't blame Jets. Happy he got his money but he's going to be less and less and less effective as he continues to get dinged up. Thanks for the memories Chris but you will be replaced. _
With all the cap room, bloated contracts and win now attitude, maybe we can get a decent trade for Mo to Jags. I was hoping we could work out a deal with him but the Malik Jackson contract made it impossible. That would give Jags an incredible DL of Mo & Malik.
nothing but good things to say about ivory and wish him the best. glad we didnt give him 6 million and happy if it nets us a compensation pick. im hoping we look at asiata, i think he is a solid replacment on the cheap
This is a very level headed response. Love the player, glad he got paid, and glad it wasnt us. If it nets us a Compensation pick, all the better.
whatever Ivory. You want to wear those clown uniforms and play in that dump empty stadium for a team owned by the Iron Sheik that's about to move to London, be my guest.
Ivory from weeks 10-17: 13 attempts per game 61 yards per game 2 receptions per game 9 receiving yards per game 1 total TD In those games, the Jets went 5-2. We are going to be just fine as long as we can bring back Powell. Edit: Powell averaged 5 catches for 50 yards in that same span (missed the last two games though). Also had 3 total TDs. Couldn't be more clear who the priority is.
Why on earth would the Eagles trade Mathews after they already traded Murray? Are they planning to use Sproles as their feature back and go 2-14 this year?
