I like it.. As an alternate though.. Like only one game a year at home against the Pats/Broncos/Other Elite team... Also needs to be a night game.
Charcoal gray? Why? That doesn't look good with green. I disagree regarding the '80's unis. I liked them a lot better than what we have at present.
Agreed. So many teams have added black to try to make them look tougher. It's a joke. The same would go for charcoal gray. They just need to get some classy green and white unis.
Yeah I'm not into the black. I like the off white that has a grayish tint to it a lot if we're going for something darker and a pearly white. Maybe even gray but a very light tint of gray and just accents.

Did you not see the mint green jersey that was posted? That was 100x worse. I agree. I like them, especially the helmet, but there is just something about it that could use tweaking. Maybe a little less black on the jersey and add more white maybe? But if this team gets an overhaul, this would get my vote. At least we go back to a logo that has something to do with the team name.
Ok guys so I like to have a white set and a green set. So get some white dress shoes, a white belt and a white jacket. Then you have your green dress shoes, green belt and green jacket. Now go buy one or two pairs of well fitting designer jeans to show off your ass, get at least one tighter pair and one looser pair, some nice slacks, and some stylish button up shirts. No polo's unless you're going to work and if it's t shirts don't go overboard with all affliction style shit, can't go wrong with a nice solid color v neck, green of course. Mix and match the shirts and pants depending on the event with your green or white set. There you have a simple and effective jets mans wardrobe. Accessorize with matching top hat and cane. Oh but what about game day ? Well you need to get your game day jersey and style to it. It's probably going to be oversized if you are a man so we are talkin about a baggier look than normal so we are going with our looser pair of jeans here and the dress shoes if you wanna keep it classy. If you wanna go for a little more swag you can lace up your green and white Air Force ones and throw on your fitted jets hat, for complete swag you can put it on backwards and tuck the jersey in only half way or not at all, full tuck permitted only if you're going hatless and sticking with the dress shoes. Now as jets fans our jerseys go well with green camo so sometimes I will bust out the old camo shorts, don't mind that giant tear on the left ass, you can't see it anyway cuz Its covered by jersey from the half tuck in the front right.
Personally as a fan who got his love for this team in the 80's I miss the Kelly Green with the 80's Jets Logo. But in saying that the current uniform design is more classy that those uni's but looks a little dated. I would not mind to see some kind of hybrid of the two. I prefer to see us at home in the Green Jerseys so would love the new shirt but without maybe the tonal variation patches. Keep the White Pants as they are. But go back to the white cleets maybe. But the Helmet and more specifically the logo do need some updating. Its too busy, you cant see what it is. Its basically a green oval from a distance and thats it. here I would bring back the Jets logo from the 80's, it has a wing designed into it so is a bit more Jets and is more ledgeable. Then put that inside the green oval but all the way up to the edge to make it stand out.
