With this FO I would think that is true, too bad ryan didn't have the choice to play vick over smith because if he did i am sure would have.

I agree although in hindsight it would have probably cost us Williams.

Idzik would have been required to spend the money just like mac did.

I don't think it would've helped a bit. The Steelers gave Vick the AFC pro bowl offense and he couldn't move the ball or win a game for his life.

True, but Idzik would have given a $150M contract to a punter and called it a day

Good find with this list. But it's unconvincing -- what do all of those Qbs have in common?

I honestly think the team gives him a full two years to learn the system. Fitz is perfect for the team right now and we can focus on other priorities.

Continuity at offensive coordinator is crucial. Even if the offense takes a turn for the worse over the next 2 years, we can't fire Chan if we intend on evaluating Bryce. Giving him 2 years to learn a system then putting him back to square 1 with a new OC would be a moronic thing to do, which is why I'm afraid we'll do it.

No way we fire Chan. He's here as long as Bowles is.

This team runs through OCs like there's no tomorrow. Who knows.

For 14 weeks now we've had Geno as the next man up and as the Raiders game showed us, Him stepping onto the field if/when Fitz gets hurt is not going to inspire the other 51 players, the (Jets) fans or give us a very much needed win......short of being up by a few scores.

Is it time for Bryce to be moved up the roster, active on gameday and ready to go if circumstances dictate?

No it's not time for Bryce Petty.

& If 51 players suddenly give up in the 1st quarter of a game because FITZPATRICK got hurt then i think that's a bigger problem than anything you don't like about Geno tbh.

Under no circumstance should a team be picking and chosing who they want to show effort for. Especially on defense. Geno coming into the game made the DEFENSE not want to play? lmao. k.

Why would a coach do anyyhing at this point to upset the apple cart? I mean other than to give fans with unrationalle hate the pound of flesh they feel they are entitled to.
