Here's what I'm working with this morn. Arkansas TT over 15.5 (-115) Georgia's defense is good but I'm not quite sure it's that good. They've played nobody and Arkansas got to 20 last week against another awesome defense. Purdue -1 (-125) Hoping David Bell (WR) plays for Purdue, but their coach showed a willingness to switch quarterbacks if he needs to last week and O'Connell came in and won the game. Siding with the home team in these close Big Ten matchups Alabama -7.5 (-120) Thanks Lon. Nuff said Michigan +3 (-125) I don't trust Michigan at all in games like this because who would? Wisconsin is realistically a top 25 team that'll get back there before the seasons over when they rollover the Minnesota and Illinois's of the Big Ten. But Harbaugh needs to not lose a game like this badly so I expect the kitchen sink. Harvard -110 My buddy coached in the Patriot for the past two years before leaving this past year. Cincy -1 (-115) If Cincinnati ever wants to get into a CFP they have the chance this year. Coan has a bum leg even if he plays and the defense is good but they only blow Wisconsin out because Mertz is dreadful. Waiting a couple hours to see if Vegas moves this line at all. Also looking for live action in TCU/Texas. TCU plays Texas tough every year especially at home but Texas is one of those teams like Tulsa + Oklahoma State that I'm literally wrong about every week. TCU's defense is not the same as it usually is (can change) especially after it got kicked around by Cal and SMU. USC line moved up 2 points to 9 since 7am when I first checked. Something to keep an eye on. That Colorado offense is just atrocious but USC is on a rollercoaster ride this year. I don't think the over is crazy in this game either. USC can hang 40 any given week and sometimes they don't.
That's a smart take--he did put up a bunch of points last year and he does have that history with them--but 30.5 pts at 'bama is not easy money imo. Wish it was lower.
I'm trying the halftime bama play--hope I don't jinx it. I apparently have the power to swing outcomes just by betting and this looks like a prime example.
I'm actually nervous about it too, especially with the hook. But we're playing the percentages here as I believe it's like 17-0 (I know they hit it last week and were undefeated against it last year, not sure about the first three). Alabama also has the best secondary in CFB and Ole Miss' #2 receiver is out (Mingo) who is their deep threat.
Also added Missouri -2 after missing on them last week against BC. Have another friend who is on their staff and said they're deeesperate for a win and at home today. Good QB production as well but they might get ran all over.
I would keep an eye on USC/Colorado at the open. If Colorado goes up I'm going to try to grab USC. Just way too much talent to overload Colorado despite the dysfunction. I'm going to see if I can get Georgia live under 7 but that'll be tough. Same with Alabama into single digits for the game. I love Corral but I think Ole Miss is way overvalued in this game. They beat an ok Louisville team and that's it. Alabama went into the swamp and pretty much handled Florida minus a late surge. The Jets have both of Corral's top targets from last year too and they're down Mingo in Tuscaloosa. It'll be tough.
I'd love to know if it's a talent thing or a coaching thing. Because Iowa and Wisconsin have the best tackling defenses in the nation nearly every single year. It's unbelievable how good they are really. Better than Alabama/Florida/Georgia too I'd say.
Added Texas ML +104 after TCU score. And Purdue ML while they were driving unfortunately -148. Then Minnesota forces the TO and scores.
Nice catch on UT. Apparently Temple coach doesn't trust his FG team. They got a bad call too. Nothing to rec yet.
Long way to go in that game though. The gnome known as Gary Patterson on TCU's sideline has gotta be losing his mind over the defense this year. Wow Mizzou is awful. Never betting on them again.
Wisconsin needs to put their backup QB in. I'm not complaining but it's unbelievable that they're staying with this Mertz kid. He's dreadful. This is a CFB Playoff calibre defense. Harbaugh needs to not run another pitch all game. The edge players on Wisconsin are way too good. It's quick hitters up the gut or read options or nothing.
Temple coach has taken lots of chances and put them behind 8 ball. But Memphis is not overwhelmong. I grabbed Temple +17.5. Its at +14.5 right now. This next Mem drive is critical. its 17-7.
Looking good down 3 man!!! I like Memphis most years but their QB this year is no Brady White. They've lost a lot of offensive talent over the past two years. Edit: I threw $20 at the +230 ML to ride with you on Temple.
If you guys aren't loading up on Alabama first half, I'm not sure what else I can say. Let's goooooooo. Free fucking money.
