The Pats are getting stronger each week, but they just don't have that "edge" anymore. My impression yesterday was that they are still beatable. But with the mucurial Jets, who knows.....We'll see. That's why they play the games.......

It helped that Sanchez was very new to the Pats when we played them earlier, and that we had some new things to throw at them. The second time around is always tough with the Pats though. They get tape on you, have some experience playing you, and they always manage to be a tougher team. And they are playing better down the stretch as well. We will have to bring our best game when we face them again. They are still the team to beat in the East though.

The last time the Pats faced a good defense they lost. We'll see what happens, I think it will be another close game and whoever wins the turnover battle will get the "W".

I'm glad NE put Miami back out of the way a bit since they have tie-breaker on us now. If the Jets beat Jacksonvile Sunday and the Pats lose at Indy--two decent possibilities--we're playing for first place on the 22nd. I'll take that.

^ and I believe the last time Brady lost two in a row was in 06 against the Jets at NE in the mud.

    BluePrint to win??

Are you guys ever going to stop the WC?

Mangina figured it out, so did Rex. Looks like Billy Boy is still behind the curve on this one.

Maybe when you face them again you'll finally stop it. The Pat White drive was a defensive joke.

Hopefully Miami watches our 2 game winning streak on you to figure out how to make Randy Moss look pedestrian.

It might be hard without our Lord and Savior Revis Christ but maybe Revis will bless their secondary for your next match-up.

In Revis' Name we pray, AMEN!!

The Pat White formation was new... it wasn't the Wildcat. It was a variation of the "Pistol" with the QB lined up in a half-shotgun with a back directly behind him.

    http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/articles/2009/11/09/getting_the_handle_on_pistol_made_this_a_good_win/

The first play from scrimmage they had a 30+ yard run out of it, but the entire left half of the Patriots d-line was looking for a false start. Miami gouged the Pats with the varied formations a little more but by the start of the second half NE had pretty much figured it out.

By the way... about this comment in your post...

"Maybe when you face them again you'll finally stop it."

I'm not a trash-talker by nature, but NE just beat a team that beat your Jets... twice. Pretty weak dude.

I didn't read most of it-

We beat you already so why are you trash talking us? This season it's Jets 1, Pats 0.

Until that changes you beating the Dolphins doesn't change anything. The Pat White entry was not new, he played in both of our games.

Plus Ronnie Brown has what?? 2 TD passes on the Pats.

Good Job yesterday, it went how I wanted it to as well. Hopefully we beat the Jags, the Colts beat you, and when we meet we'll actually have something on the line.

My Bro got me tickets on the Jets(visitor) bench row 6. I'll be "That Guy".

Looking forward to the game, hopefully we can make it 3 in a row. I said HOPEFULLY.

ST lost us the second game, their WC gained about 7 yards of offense.
You aren't a Dolphin fan too are you??

"We didn't beat you so we'll brag about beating a team that beat you."

    Much stronger argument.

Trash talk is garbage shit for skinny little virgin 15-year-old boys who post from their bedrooms. I was only responding to your question "Are you guys ever going to stop the WC?" Which the Patriots have... twice now, and in the last two meetings between NE and Miami, the damage has been limited and ultimately the Patriots won both games, which is all that matters.

But... the formation that the Dolphins used yesterday with Pat White was, according to the post-game and articles I've read today, the first time the Dolphins have used it. If that's incorrect my bad, but I blame my sources.

Looking forward to the rematch of "Rex Ryan's Superbowl" played back in Week 2. Do you think he'll leave us Pats season ticket holders a voicemail message asking us not to come and make too much noise?

    Cheers... here's to you.

    That was bragging?

Are you just having some kind of a knee-jerk emotional reaction to a Patriots fan on your board? Or are you actually reading what I'm writing?

Whatever you'd like to call it, it's just as weak a point to bring up.

Sorry, I'll stop trying to introduce factual, corrective information to any football discussions... clearly that upsets you.

"AnswaRing" would be more like "ann-sah-ing," but otherwise, nice job!

I was having trouble putting it on the keyboard, thanks for the tip-

I can do the accent perfect, but typing it is much different.

My damn brother moved up there, I hope to gawd my nephews don't talk like that.

LOL, it's pretty bad. I grew up about 10 miles from Boston and it took a real effort on my part to shake the accent in my mid-20s. I just can't take a guy seriously if he sounds like he's calling a sports talk show at 11:30 on a Monday night with 17 beers in him.

My wife is from Queens, so we're either "pahkin the cah" or she's on the phone "tawwww-king" to her mother. We just hope our daughter somehow speaks like a normal human being.

I don't think these guys bothered to read my thread in context. I was pointing out the irony of having to root for one of 2 most hated teams in order to stay close to 1st place, but not letting Miami catch you. I think some of you Jets fans are too sensitive. It wasn't trash talking. We haven't beaten the Jets the last 2 times we have met so it's not like we are undefeated against them. In the words of the Drill Seargent from STRIPES- "Lighten up Francis!"
