Liz Cheney, Vice Chair of the Jan 6 committee this morning on ABC News "The Justice Department doesn't have to wait for the committee to make a criminal referral, and there could be more than one criminal referral," when asked if failed former president Donald Trump could be among those given a criminal referral: "We'll make a decision as a committee about it," and "yes" (when asked if its possible) -- She also provided a reasoned take on the situation: "If you just think about it from the perspective of: What kind of man knows that a mob is armed and sends the mob to attack the Capitol and further incites that mob when his own vice president is under threat?" "It's very chilling, and I think certainly we will continue to present to the American people what we've found,"
The charge of Seditious Conspiracy is a tough one to prove vs Trump But There are 2 very credible charges the Justice Dept can get DJT on :1. A Federal Charge against interfering in the peaceful transition of power by the US Congress 2. A charge of tampering in the vote count of those states he needed to win..the scheme to present a phony slate of electors cooked up by Juliana and Eastman withbTrumps endorsement Merritt Garland CANT lose this case or screw it up since that outcome would threaten democracy letting any future Prez do whatever they like to throw the Election their way
Do you think Merritt Garland has the balls to bring charges against Trump? Honestly, I don't think so..
Can you blame then? The DNC did everything they could to tip the scales to Hillary in 2016. Scheduled debates when no one would watch, a delegate system which didn't award based on votes won in each state, and sending Clinton's campaign debate questions ahead of time.
if the Jan 6 committee makes a criminal referral, as Liz Cheney suggested they might, I would think he pretty much has to bring charges, balls or no balls
The real problem is that Bernie knew he couldn't make a credible independent run without throwing the election to whoever the GOP candidate was so he joined the party process. The secondary problem is that Bernie is not a Democrat and never has been and is far enough off to the left that his presence dragged the Democrats to the left when they really needed to be leaning the other way. People still do not realize how conservative Obama was from the standpoint of the current Democratic Party. He gave us the GOP health plan from '93 and actually fully funded the Affordable Care Act with a mandate that covered it's costs. He was the last guy in the party to come around on Gay Marriage. He stayed the course in Afghanistan despite clearly wanting to disengage because he didn't know what would happen when we got out and he didn't want the chaos that we eventually saw with Trump's agreement to leave and Biden's fulfillment of the agreement. So Hillary runs with the intention of completing Bill's transformation of the party to a centrist party with small wings on the left and the right and then BOOM! Bernie spoils the party and the Democrats have been floundering ever since.
Calling it the same is very misleading. Obama also oversaw the pullout of Iraq that lead to the formation of ISIS. His hands are not clean of Middle East meddling. He also has his people pulling the strings right now in a kamikaze crusade on Biden’s legacy for what they believe will be the greater good.
If it turns out she's a mole sent by the RNC, that would be the first thing about her that's made sense.
Who do you think is calling the plays my du? Biden is just trying to avoid the awful taste of crushed up pills in his apple sauce every morning, let alone making any policy decisions. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2021/06/16/most-bidens-top-white-house-staff-worked-obama-and-female/7706857002/ https://apnews.com/article/joe-bide...c-susan-rice-52d71bd7f346299136f8ce0e12cf97d8
What’s a stretch? That most of the folks running the country right now come from the Obama administration? There’s nothing untrue about that.
