Cuban has those sort of ambitions too. No one will ever really do it though. They don’t want to have to bankroll their own way and and one of the parties would gladly pick up either of them.

She'll bring back skinny Oprah for this just to avoid "oval office" jokes.

It would be a good year for it though. If the choices do end up as Biden or Trump a 3rd party might have a chance to grab a bunch of votes.

I have no illusion of a 3rd party winning but if one made a good show it could help in future elections.

It would be nice for 3rd party to be involved in debates but the 2 parties have that locked down already. Republicans already complaining, they want term limits for the debate board members. Term limits for debate board members but let those in congress serve until they are just drooling on the notes their aides give them.

If I'm a one issue voter, it is term limits. Anyone that says and means they plan making term limits I will vote for them basically no matter what.

Trump said he would, but it was an obvious lie at the time to go with everything he says is bullshit anyways.

I don't remember what it was, but a year ago on TV there was some committee going on and Pat Leahy was running it. He could barely speak, not to mention he looked like a gust of wind away from turning to dust.

There's dozens others like that. It's just not how it should be.

Edit: to go with this, I guess Leahy fell yesterday and broke his hip.

Leahy has been in the Senate since Watergate. He, Grassley, and Feinstein are some of the many members of Congress who shouldn't be in office now.

The issue is that a lot of those puss bags all propose term limits even though they know it’ll never pass.

Taken by itself, it's a sensible enough tweet. But if you look into who Ryan Knight is (a far left wingnut), you realize he wants to run an extreme leftist third party candidate because his goal is either to get an extreme leftist in power directly or to use the extreme leftist to sabotage the Democrat in the hopes that the extreme leftists can use the Democrat's defeat to take over the Democratic party in future elections.

This is the Democrat's fault. They have resisted a shift to the Right for generations now and in the process they have enfeebled their own politics and given the Far Right way too much breathing room.

They wouldn't have to shift all that much either. Bill Clinton had the formula and the party shrugged it off.
