Come on, dude. This is so off base. The BLM-affiliated riots were terrible and the response from Democratic politicians a disgrace but 1) you can’t possibly believe that Jan 6 only happened because BLM rioted first, and 2) there really is no comparing the two. Even if no unarmed black man was ever killed by a white police officer, Trump would unquestionably have still claimed election fraud, riled up his base, and instigated them to storm the Capitol. I doubt any of the Capitol rioters were thinking “oh, since BLM rioted this is okay”, they were simply caught up in the hysteria of the moment. In terms of trying to compare the two, the BLM riots were simply opportunistic loons taking advantage of chaos with no objective in mind - while terrible, this kind of shit has happened a lot in American history. The Jan 6 riots had the express purpose of obstructing the peaceful transfer of power and subverting our democratic process. If successful, we would’ve become Russia/Turkey. I think it’s easy for those on the Right to downplay the event because it was so poorly carried out but it doesn’t change the intent behind it.

You’re certainly entitled to your own personal value judgement but I’m going to go with $2 billion in property damage, 18 deaths, and a years disruption to 3 hours of temporary government shutdown down that impacted nobody’s life but is being exaggerated as an actual threat to our democracy. that being said, fino alla fine.
You're not taking into account that the right wing extremists failed to reach Pence and the Congresspeople on January 6. If they'd succeeded, it would have been a lot worse than the BLM riots (which fwiw I condemned as they were happening, you can look back at my old posts).
