That was probably me (a couple months ago). I also posted a very, very long article about how hard Greg Jennings (GB's #1 receiver, though debatedly it is still Driver), found it hard to get close to Favre at first. But it's pretty clear in the end Jennings had a lot of respect & love for Favre, so it's not like "that's just the way Favre is" or something. Sounds like for some players on Jets it's not turning out that way. Favre used to go out and raise hell all the time when he was younger, but now that he's older and he stopped cold on the drinking he doesn't any more. He definitely stays at home a lot more now, I've read in various accounts last few years (and I myself have gone over a decade without seeing him outside Lambeau and his annual softball charity game here), but that's natural as you get older I think, and have kids -- I have a daughter pretty close to Favre's youngest's age, I spend a lot of my evenings & weekends these days with her & the rest of the family too. And when I go out, I go out with long term friends mostly. I don't stop going out with them and start going out with my new coworkers every time I change jobs. That's what you do when you're only ou8t of college a few years maybe, but not when you get older.
