Is this the 'man' Jets fans coveted so much?

    Anyone notice that we are the only team anyone is saying will take Freeman? In the 1st round no less.

    If we don't draft him which I would be pissed off if we did, he would easily slip into the second round.

    He was an average college QB who played against shitty defenses and had a good combine workout.

    I'm sick of the Jets going after these workout wonders.

    NO FREEMAN!!!

    That's not the point. Having Favre drop into their lap was an opportunity they pounced on, it didn't necessarily mean they thought the guys they have couldn't play. You had Brett Favre coming off a great season and Green Bay desperately looking to ship him to the AFC so they went for it. It's not like they went shopping for whoever they could get, they went the entire off-season and stood pat at QB until Favre became available. Most QBs on any roster are going to have to take a back seat when something like that happens.
