    I think this saves Mac until it’s proven it didn’t work, which probably won’t be for awhile. The good news is it doesn’t have anything to do with saving Bowles, that will have to be done on the field.

    Can certainly picture a scenario where Mac is given the authority to hire his own coach that fits with QB drafted at seasons end.

    maccagnan's job is every bit as much on the line regardless of what happens with the qb. he had about 75m to spend when he came in 3 years ago and another 90 this year. if this team doesn't go at least 9-7 expect them both to be gone.
