They looked tired last night - having the bye week to rest and only having to win two games to go to the big dance would be HUGE. Beating 3 PO teams on the road is not easy to, especially when its the Colts, Pansies and Steelers.
Rubbing our face in it? That's exactly what you're doing. I hope I live to see the day when we finally shut up all the naysayers like yourself. GO PACK GO
No it isn't: We beat Buffalo and NE at home. KC is probably going to have a relapse next year. SD will be better, tough game. Jacksonville is tough but our D and O are better. Dallas could go either way but as long as Jet fans don't sell their tix to Dallas fans we should win. Giants we will crush for territorial rights. Buff we beat on road....Miami ditto.....NE tough.....Denver in chaos, we beat them this year....Oakland is going 4-12 thanks to Al Davis firing a coach his players played for.....Balt is tough.....Philly not that great a team outside of Vick and no running game.....Washington, lousy team. 7-1 at home and 6-2 on road gets us to 13 wins and #1 seed.....Patriots aren't winning 14 games next year, trust me. Flacco getting flack in Balt. Miami in chaos, Buffalo normal (as in lousy).
Correct. The first goal is to win the AFC East and get homefield through the playoffs. Then win the AFCCG and then to win the SB. Its kind of hard to believe that we need to have a thread to discuss this obvious point.
Getting a home playoff game while playing in the AFC East is easier said than done. That division is just stacked. Think about it - at 11-5, the Jets would have had a home game if they played in five of the other seven divisions in the NFL!
If this was a home game it would have been different. Maybe that is what the team needs to break this losing record?
