I think Tampa is looking for some WR's right now. I'll bet the team could get a GREAT deal on GW and D. Adams to the Bucs who are down Goodwin and Evans.
Would be kinda worth it if it means Woody starts sporting an 80s Primetime Deion Jerri-curl wig to go with his dope chain...
This is our best chance to draft a top Qb and have him sit behind Rodgers and a offensive guru next year and develop into a franchise Qb, its now or never, but my money is on the Jets messing this up. The Patriots were ass before Brady, the Chiefs were ass before Mahomes, the Redskins were ass before Jayden Daniels. A Franchise Qb changes franchises. Jets can't fuck this up this time.
No, it's not too early. I read an interesting article by Costello of the Post today. He included the same stat as Cimini did, but took it back further. Cimini had said that since 2012 when the Packers committed no TOs and held the Seahawks under 250 yards of offense, yet lost, 220 teams had won those types of game and not one had lost. Costello, took it back to 1940, and said: "This is from Football Perspective – the Jets scored 20 or more points, committed no turnovers and held the Patriots under 250 yards. From 1940 until Sunday, teams were 756-0 when they hit those three metrics. The Jets snapped that streak. Let that sink in. 756 teams won and only the Jets lost. The Jets will probably be the ONLY team that ever loses in that situation. That's what a joke this franchise/team is, and the NFL should just fold it. I'm officially no longer a fan of the NY Jets and this is my last post. I wish all you guys luck. You're gonna need it or a lot of booze or drugs to remain a fan of this team. I'm going to find something better and more enjoyable to do with my life than follow this joke of a team.
Actually, it's not. There's not a single QB, so far, coming out that is worth a top 10 pick let alone a top 5. NO MORE REACHING for what isn't there.
The Patriots made the Super Bowl with Bledsoe, the Chiefs were a perennial playoff team with Reid and Alex Smith, and the Commanders got rid of Snyder before drafting Daniels.
Will miss you, NC, it won't be this year, but perhaps one day we find the right GM and Coach and we will talk Jets again here under better circumstances.
It's never too early for a Tankathon thread. If anything, having one for this offseason is amateur business. We need a Tankathon thread for the 2026 draft. We all know there will be one eventually anyway.
Thinking it's ever now or never to draft a QB is the kinda shallow level of desperation thinking that leaves you with Bryce Young at QB, minus a ton of extra high value draft capital, instead of just waiting the extra year for Caleb Williams to fall right into you league worst team's lap. #freshstartin26
