You know, I agree about enough with the Jags, and I was also thinking that Lawrence was the only franchise QB in that draft, so OF COURSE we have to end up with the #2 pick not the top one and miss out on the only real QB in that draft. Zach, Trey Lance, and Fields all suck. But then as I’m reading this, I had to just say well, if you draft that franchise QB, and if you are still picking top overall in the next couple of years, maybe he’s not really a franchise QB? I haven’t followed Jacksonville closely enough to know why they continue to suck, and I do know that TL did get them into the playoffs a couple years ago, so don’t really know what is wrong there, but kinda funny…maybe TL isn’t all that?
Lawrence is alright, but he's more average than elite. Darnold might actually be better, though it's hard to tell because Lawrence hasn't played for as good a team as the Vikings.
