In this year's NFL, that hit is a penalty. If the league is consistent, all helmet to helmet hits are personal fouls. Thomas led with his head and hit Coles in the helmet. It may be a tough play, but it's a penalty! So was the tackle the play before that on Washington. If thoses were Jet defenders, they would have been flagged. You may appreciate the tough play by Thomas, but if you have a rule, enforce it consistently or do away with it.

To be quite honest I was more pissed at Chad than Thomas. I just wonder how many years he is taking off of Coles career.

I do not dispute it was a penalty. I just did not think it a cheap shot. Yes I agree it was leading with the Helmet. I was just saying real time watching it it looked like a tremendous hit. Then the replay showed it much clearer.

Coles actually came back into the game people...Then after the game I asked if he was alright and he said he's alright.

Actually Coles has been ordinary without Pennington and Pennington thrives with Coles, so they have been very good for each other.

That SOB is a tough mother@#!%&#. I thought he broke his neck man. He was knocked the %@#! out. I thought for sure they would have taken precautionary xray's but that guy put a bandaid on and went out there in the 2nd half and played tough. Tough as nails. I'm so impressed. This is Chrebet like tough. Just watch out for the concussions.

And Chad threw the Leon pass perfect. Leon is a small dude. And the pass to Coles wasn't a lofty cream puff as more it was thrown in between two defenders and Zach caught him clean is all.

Impressive show of resilliance by the Jets tonite.

LOL I was just talking about that one particular play. I recognize the chemistry they have. But damn sometimes Chad does put him in harms way. Really I do like Chad I just think that one of the obvious downsides of his is that he requires receivers with gigantic balls (not footballs mind you  ) because lets face it he does float some passes. For example, If Chris Chambers was a Jet I think he would be useless because of his lack of toughness. LOL poor example he is useless.............
