Yup, I apologize sayuki. Something seemed strange about you, but if you're honestly just trying to post about the Jets my sincerest apologies.

    Cheers mate.:)

This is exactly where I am. Chad's 2 INT's today were all on Chad. The one in the end-zone was extremely bad in terms of what it cost us. Chad basically had a very Chad-typical game and thankfully he didn't get killed.

It is not that I think Chad is better or worse; is about where this team is right now and what it would take to get it Chad healthy. I still think that the serveral other things that Clemens brings to the table allow the Jets to get healthier faster - more arm strength, a bit harder to bring down in the pocket, more mobility.

Give Clemens a very good offensive line and a decent, reliable ground game, and a true #1 wide receiver and then we can judge.

Judging Clemens in the conditions and offensive line he has had to play with would be equivalent to letting Michelle Kwan skate on mud and asking her to do a triple axel and then kick her out of skating for not being able to execute.

Pennington sucks! He threw an end zone INT and his fans will overlook that. If the kid did it the world would come to an end! DUMP CHAD!

Clemens hasn't proven to be better than Chad yet but really it's probably gotten to the point where both sides (Chad and the Jets) need a change for change's sake.

I don't get why Chad's throwing crucial INT's this year where he wouldn't in past years. It's not health-related since he's still throwing the ball as well as he had the last couple years. But this is now two games where Chad's had high percentage efforts (Buffalo at home) get ruined by his own mistakes. Maybe he mentally just needs to be the guy again, or maybe it's just this is by far the worst offensive talent he's played with and he sure as shooting can't 'win a game by himself'.

And he usede to be known for not making mental errors and THAT would overcome his poor arm strength...

Now he makes mental errors too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Coaching and Speed

The Jets have two good qb's-- Mangini better keep what he has so they can refine the system and lead with their smarts.

No one complained about CP when he was throwing to R.Moss. He still has a great arm -- he hit LC in full stride for 60 yards earlier this Fall.

There's no way to evaluate a newbie like KC behind this line with these WR's. Only CP had the moxie to survive OL newbies' trials by fire in Tenn Sun.

Without WR speed, the Bills and Pats can sit on Jet routes without fear. Without OL blocking for Jet backs or qb, K.Bullock could drop deeper than ever before yesterday. Check out Favre last year and the year before--his seasoned cannon could not overcome inconsistent WR's and a weak OL.

OL teamwork is built by great line coaches and great strength coaching. Bill Muir was the closest we ever got to Denver's Alex Gibbs, who's the gold standard. What we have now certainly is no Alex Gibbs.

You want better qb play -- upgrade Line coach, upgrade strength coach, THEN upgrade OGs and RTs. AFTER, get some speed at WR.

Chad isn't going to spend another year as a possible backup, so he'll likely go elsewhere. He and his agent aren't stupid, and they know that his trade value is diminishing fast. With Chad will likely be Coles, so we'll have KC next season definitely and we'll likely bring someone in from FA to compete with him.

Chad is a better quarterback and KC has yet to prove himself.

Any chance of Vinny coming in as a 3rd stringer?
