If you guys want to include other games, do the research yourself. As I said, that is from another poster on a different message board, and I just copy and pasted it. I just remember Penny losing repeatedly to the Patriots, and also managing something like 3 points against the Steelers, where you guys are busy trying to blame a missed FG entirely for. If you feel so strongly about Chad's track record, it shouldn't be out of your reach to post up temperatures and wind speeds and Chad's stats and QB ratings in those games. I'm not going to bother with it because I don't care enough to change anyone's mind on the internet, even though I already know what the stats are going to show you. It also shouldn't be too hard for you to identify the strong defenses, and which ones aren't.
If you don't want to argue your point over the internet and 'dont care enough to change anyone's mind on the internet", why are you even posting on an internet message board. Sounds like you just realized that the stuff you posted was completely meaningless and didnt prove anything about chad. We lost to the patriots alot? Every quarterback that has faced NE over the past 5 years has lost a lot, and 3 points against a 15-1 steeler team which had much more talent than us? Leave chad alone.
It's your argument - you should do the research. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a QB will not pass as well in cold windy weather against a good defense. That is true of every QB in the history of the NFL. The "research" you posted is incomplete and proves nothing. What we do know is that Pennington has won and won late and has beaten good teams late in the year in bad weather. How about you research Peyton Manning's record and stats outdoors in December and January and compare those numbers to his home game stats. I'll bet the outdoor stats are incredibly inferior. What does all of this prove? It only proves the obvious - that it is harder to pass on cold windy days againt good defensive teams. In the words Derrick Coleman made famous "Woop de damn doo!"
