No. He'll be one of the first 2 taken and likely to go to Buffalo. I actually think we should try to get a 3rd rounder and get one there. Alot of recievers ranked the same after the first 3 or 4.
Do these "experts" who claim to know the team's biggest needs account for injuries and their adverse impact on the team? Right now the Jets have 3 guys who can play the OLB positions in a 3-4. Are they saying that we should grab a WR in the 2nd if a guy like Groves or Avril is still on the board? Folks, you gotta remember that this is a Parcellsian team that is predicated to playing in the northeast. Which means a dominant defense to go with a ball control offense. I believe that we already have the makings of a decent ball control offense especially with a revamped OL that can allow the team to fully utilized TL, LW, et al. However, we are still lacking a legitimate top-5 defense. I don't think that we're that far off from having one now. To use such a high pick on a position that we already have serviceable players manning just doesn't make sense.
