No. He'll be one of the first 2 taken and likely to go to Buffalo. I actually think we should try to get a 3rd rounder and get one there. Alot of recievers ranked the same after the first 3 or 4.

Do these "experts" who claim to know the team's biggest needs account for injuries and their adverse impact on the team?

Right now the Jets have 3 guys who can play the OLB positions in a 3-4. Are they saying that we should grab a WR in the 2nd if a guy like Groves or Avril is still on the board? Folks, you gotta remember that this is a Parcellsian team that is predicated to playing in the northeast. Which means a dominant defense to go with a ball control offense.

I believe that we already have the makings of a decent ball control offense especially with a revamped OL that can allow the team to fully utilized TL, LW, et al. However, we are still lacking a legitimate top-5 defense. I don't think that we're that far off from having one now. To use such a high pick on a position that we already have serviceable players manning just doesn't make sense.

^ If groves or Avril are there at 36 you get them... Avril is supposedly the next shaun phillips. we need one of those.

His name would look awesome on the back of a Jet Jersey.

He keeps moving up. Some have him at the bottom of round 1. It all depends on if the Michigan St. reciever passes him.
