Is this football or fashion.? You guys sound like a bunch of girls deciding what to wear on a date. If the Bills wear blue, the Jets wear their road whites. If the Bills wear white, the Jets wear their home greens. The current unis are fine. Can we stop this nonsense now?
Exactly. I always specify that my favorite jets uniform era is the late 70s/early 80's.. the deep forest green w/ the "swoosh" jets logo . Around 87 or so, you'll notice the green becomes more kelly...and in 90 they made the green even brighter and added the black.A lot of people think the "kelly" look started with Coslet..but when looking at old pictures you can early 80's to late 80's based on the brightness of the green. I love the classic swoosh logo. That's the logo the team wore when I first became a die hard. Sure the look may have meant a darker time in Jets history...but wouldn't it be nice to see a much better team wear them?
They aren't going to wear the titan blue jersey anymore. It's official information. Wear the green top and white pants. best uniform in sports by far.
I like the green and white uniforms we have now. There's no need for a black jersey, or even a blue Titans jersey.
Because that is what we based our current jerseys on, there really isn't much different other than the smaller numbers on the front. I see loser in the kelly green jersey and ironically while the Eagles look really good in them, we should stick with our regular ones. The thing I am noticing is that we have yet to play in our green jerseys.
I would like this better team to erase the bad memories of the past by wearing the swoosh Jets logo'd helmets and kelly greens. I love both the original Namath year unis, which our current unis are based on but I wish we could win a few games with the swoosh Jets unis as well. I just hope wearing them doesn't jinx us into playing like those years.
